Château de Lafont
Château de Lafont is our own family wine made from our vineyard in Saint-Vivien, a few kilometers east of Saint-Emilion. It is a small A.O.C Bergerac production, affordable and of great quality, made exclusively from the vines surrounding our estate. Read more on the Château de Lafont website.
We age our wines in bottle for 5 years in France before importing them to Malaysia. This guarantees their immediate enjoyability, even though they usually become even better with a few extra years of ageing.

Burgundy
The following Burgundy wines are all sourced directly from the producer’s stocks.
Frédéric Magnien
Frédéric Magnien is based in Morey-Saint-Denis but produces a selection of wines from all over the Côte de Nuits.
His style is very rigorous (old vines, manual harvest, strict grape sorting, cold pre-maceration) while staying very close to nature (indigenous yeasts, vatting by gravity without crushing, manual cap-punching, following moon cycles).
The following wines are available now in KL:
Label | Type | Vintage | Note |
---|---|---|---|
Crémant Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut | Sparkling | NV | 100% Pinot Noir. Dosage 4 g/L. |
Meursault | White | 2017 | Direct whole bunch press and slow fermentation (4 months) by indigenous yeasts. |
Puligny-Montrachet | White | 2015 | Direct whole bunch press, slow fermentation in oak barrels. |
Morey Saint-Denis Blanc “Les Larrets” | White | 2014 | Very rare item (only 3% of Morey-Saint-Denis is white wine). From a parcel directly above the Grand Cru “Clos des Lambrays”. |
Fixin | Red | 2015 | Most northern part of Burgundy. |
Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes | Red | 2013 | Average age of vines is 55 years old. |
Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “Les Damodes” | Red | 2014 | Parcel located on the edge of Nuits-Saint-Georges, touching Vosne-Romanée. |
Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “Aux Thorey” | Red | 2003 | Parcel located on the northern side of Nuits-Saint-Georges. |
Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Charmes” | Red | 2009 | Parcel located in the center of Chambolle, next to Les Amoureuses. Made from 100+ years old vines. |
Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Baudes” | Red | 2003 | Parcel directly below the Grand Cru “Les Bonnes Mares”. |
Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru | Red | 2012 | Old vines (65+ years old) from the “Mazoyères” area. |
Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru | Red | 2015 | Parcel on the southern part of the Clos de Vougeot. |
Echezeaux Grand Cru | Red | 2015 | A selection of older-vine fruit from lieu-dits “Les Rouges du Bas”, “En Orveaux” and “Les Poulaillères.” |
Domaine Jacques Prieur
Since 1868, Domaine Jacques Prieur (DJP) has created one of the rarest mosaics of terroirs all over Cote-de-Beaune and Cote-de-Nuits.
The domain is comprised of parcels in 9 Grands Crus, 14 Premier Crus, and 3 Monopoles.
The white wines are whole-bunch pressed, 100% fermented in barrels and then age from 16 to 22 months in barrels.
The red wines are totally destemmed, and entirely aged in oak barrels.
The following wines are available now in KL:
Label | Type | Vintage | Note |
---|---|---|---|
Bourgogne Chardonnay | White | 2017 | Made from the vines adjacent to the domaine, all of which are within the village of Meursault |
Beaune 1er Cru “Champs Pimont” Blanc | White | 2015 | 1.42 hectare plot. Planted on the upper part of the slope with chalky soil that gives its mineral characteristics. |
Meursault 1er Cru “Santenots” | White | 2015 | 0.80 hectare plot. Situated at the foot of the slope, this vineyard has a perfect balance between soil and stone that encourages ripening. |
Beaune 1er Cru “Champs Pimont” Rouge | Red | 2015 | 2.06 hectare plot. Lower part of slope which benefits from a very clayey soil that produces deeply-colored powerful wines. |
Beaune 1er Cru “Clos de la Féguine” Monopole | Red | 2015 | 1.59 hectare Monopole. South-facing sun exposure, very steep. Meagre, light brown silty and clay-limestone soil. Fractured limestone giving perfect drainage. |
Volnay 1er Cru “Les Santenots” | Red | 2013 | 0.59 hectare plot. Steep slope with perfect natural drainage. Situated in the middle of the slope facing due east. |
Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru | Red | 2013 | 0.49 hectare plot. A very mature, deep soil with brown topsoil, subsoil of large, fractured limestone blocks. Made from younger vines of the Chambertin Grand Cru parcel. |
Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru | Red | 2013 | 1.28 hectare plot. The soil has a large clay content, which accounts to the powerful, well-structured wines that have a rustic side when very young. |
Champagne
The following Champagne wines are all sourced directly from the producer’s stocks.
J.M. Labruyère Champagne Grand Cru
J.M. Labruyère is a new grower’s Champagne which started in 2012 by the Labruyère family, who purchased 6 hectares of 100% Grand Cru parcels between Verzenay and Verzy.
These Grand Cru plots were used for Dom Pérignon before they were acquired, but the Labruyère family decided to take over to make their own Champagne label. Their minimum ageing in bottle (3 years) for all labels is the double of that required by law.
The following wines are available now in KL:
Label | Note |
---|---|
J.M Labruyère Champagne Grand Cru “Prologue” | 100% Grand Cru. 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. |
J.M Labruyère Champagne Grand Cru “Anthologie” | 100% Grand Cru. 70% Pinot Noir (including 8% red wine), 30% Chardonnay. |
J.M Labruyère Champagne Grand Cru “Page Blanche” | 100% Grand Cru. 100% Chardonnay |
